PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire treads in which low rolling resistance and grip performance can highly be compatible. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tire treads comprises (A) 0.1-20 pts. wt. dialkyltin (IV) oxide represented by chemical formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a≤12C hydrocarbon group) and (B) 0.1-20 pts. wt. at least one kind of compound selected from a group consisting of a thiuram-based compound, a dithiocarbamic acid salt-based compound, a thiazole-based compound and a sulfenamide-based compound.
