PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material only consisting of a thermoplastic resin film in which even when a crack is generated on the surroundings of a thin thickness part of a minute-recessed part, it does not substantially become a hindrance to manufacture the printing plate material. SOLUTION: The printing plate material for thermal stencil printing consists of the thermoplastic resin film with a specified thickness, and a number of minute-recessed parts 14 consisting of depressed recessed parts where thin thickness parts 24 are formed by partly decreasing the thickness of the film are formed on one of the surface. A filler 42 is filled into the cracks 43 generated on the surroundings of the thin thickness parts of the minute-recessed parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
