PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can diversify the game modes. SOLUTION: A winning device fitted on a game panel 10 is equipped with a winning device body 40 and a ball retention device 30. The winning device body 40 is equipped with a ball inlet 47, and is equipped with an opening/closing member 45 which is provided variably in a first state wherein a ball B can enter the ball inlet 47, and a second state wherein the ball B is difficult to enter. The ball retention device 30 is constituted in a manner to discharge the ball B after retaining the ball B for a specified period of time following the acceptance of the ball B. The winning device body 40 and the device 30 are arranged in a positional relationship wherein the ball B discharged from the device 30 enters the ball inlet 47 when the opening/closing member 45 is in the first state. The device 30 is equipped with a ball turning member 33 which can retain the ball B by gradually lowering the ball while turning it, and can display the turning state of the ball B.
