HEAT DEVELOPABLE EMULSION AND IMAGE FORMING MATERIAL CONTAINING BINDER MIXTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous heat developable emulsion and an image forming material having little crystallization of a fatty acid in an image forming layer and having excellent storage stability. SOLUTION: The aqueous thermally sensitive emulsion comprises: (a) a non-photosensitive reducible silver ion source containing an organic silver carboxylate prepared from a fatty acid insoluble with gelatin; (b) a reducing agent composition for the reducible silver ion; and (c) a binder mixture containing a hydrophilic binder by 70 to 99 mass% of the whole binder mass and the balance of a hydrophobic binder or a water-dispersible polymer or latex.
