PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, system and user interface of filtering and observing the common index of annotations for multi-media or video streams.

SOLUTION: The multi-media or video streams are obtained to obtain one or more indexes of user annotations for the multi-media or video streams. The obtained indexes for the annotations are integrated to form a common index of the annotations, the obtained annotations are associated with a part of the multi-media or video streams, a highly valued annotation is determined and displayed. Next, whether or not a new annotation should be obtained is determined.
