<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude an erroneous reception of other person by specifying the subjective registered person not based on one face image but based on an average value of collation degrees found in the one registered person using the plurality of image faces, even when an input face image is closely similar to the face image of the registered person, when specifying the subjective registered person. <P>SOLUTION: Storage information stored with the plurality of image faces acquired corresponding to all the registered persons is collated with the image face of the subjective registered person acquired by a face image acquiring means to calculate the collation degree value, and the subject is specified based on comparison with the average value of the collation degrees calculated from the plurality of image faces in the every registered person. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
