<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing construction of a sliding part of a rotating member which can securely prevent a foreign matter from invading and simultaneously can save effort machining a groove for an oil seal. <P>SOLUTION: The construction is configured so that a cylindrical member 25 is fitted into a through hole 12 of a bearing 11 and a rotating shaft 26 is inserted through the cylindrical member 25. The cylindrical member 25 and the rotating shaft 26 is constituted to individually make it possible to rotate around identical axis 14. The construction is also configured so that a packing 60 which is for preventing the foreign matter from invading is mounted to outer end surface of the cylindrical member 25. The packing 60 includes an insertion hole through which the rotating shaft 26 is inserted and is formed on an outer peripheral part of the packing 60 with a first sliding contact part 62 which brings into contact with outer surface of the bearing 11 over whole circumference outward of the through hole 12 while being formed on an inner peripheral part of the insertion hole with a second sliding contact part 63 which brings into contact with outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft 26 over whole circumference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
