<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based precoating liquid which is excellent in discharging stability and can form a good inkjet image on a water repellent face, for example, the surface of a plastic base material and the surface of an oil ink layer such as the printed part of an offset printed matter or a gravure printed matter, and a method for inkjet recording. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based precoating liquid comprises a metal salt and a nonionic surfactant, and has the product of an HLB value obtained from the Griffin's equation for the nonionic surfactant and the content (wt.%) of ≥0.2 and a surface tension of ≤25 mN/m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
