<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic circuit chip fixing device and an image forming apparatus which are capable of preventing an electronic circuit chip fixed on a medium from falling off. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a chip housing part 102 for housing at least one electronic circuit chip for transmitting and receiving data by way of an electric wave; and a chip fixing part 108 for fixing the electronic circuit chip housed in the chip housing part 102.
