<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for language lessons, which make the best use of advantages of interactive communication, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The language lesson method includes a basic expression mastering process (steps 10) of generating typical conversation contents corresponding to scenes by a host server 2 and sending their electronic data to a user terminal 4 to display them on a monitor 10 for mastering basic expressions and a use practice process (steps 20) for basic expressions of making a pupil avatar S representing a user of the user terminal 4 and/or a tutor avatar T, etc., appear in a cybercity including a scene wherein basic expressions structured by the host server 2 are used to make a practice of using the basic expressions mastered in the basic expression mastering process on tutor's initiative. Further, included is a practical conversation practice process (steps 30) of having a practical conversation by talking to other pupil avatars and/or robot avatars from the pupil avatar representing the user oneself in the cybercity simulating actual states or vise versa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
