PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous reproduction control apparatus for attached information in an information reproduction system capable of reproducing character information or the like optionally set by a user synchronously with reproduction of a recording medium in the case of reproducing the recording medium on which video and / or audio are recorded. SOLUTION: The synchronous reproduction control apparatus is provided with a signal read section 2 for reproducing a recording medium 1 on which main information is recorded. A storage section 17 other than the recording medium 1 records the attached information corresponding to the main information. A system controller 14, a system control section 16, a back end processor 10, and a display control section 18 configure a synchronous control section. Various operation command keys in an information entry section 15 used to enter the attached information and an operation command key to provide a reproduction operation command to the recording medium 1 are provided to an operating panel.
