PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic encoder which has accurate magnetic characteristics, and is excellent in moldability and handling nature, and realizable in price. SOLUTION: The magnetic encoder forms a pulse train by magnetism and generates codes. An elastic magnetism ring 1 is bonded and fixed to a reinforcement ring 3 via adhesive agent 2, thereby forming the magnetic encoder. A protective cover 3 is welded and adhered to the encoder. Thereby powerful sticking capacity is obtained, high precision is realized, productivity is improved, and low cost serving is enabled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
