PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of engine exhaust system capable of permitting the movement of a catalytic converter in the thermal expansion of an exhaust manifold and absorbing the positional slippage in the assembling of the catalytic converter and an engine. SOLUTION: The catalytic converter 9 is connected to the engine 10 by a stiffener 1 having an engine-side mounting surface 2 having an engine-side mounting bolt hole 4 and a catalytic converter-side mounting surface 3 having a catalytic converter-side mounting bolt hole 5. According to such a structure, the movement of the catalytic converter 9 in the thermal expansion of the exhaust manifold 8 is absorbed by the catalytic converter-side mounting bolt hole 5. The positional slippage in the assembling of the catalytic converter 9 is absorbed by the engine-side mounting bolt hole 4 and the catalytic converter-side mounting bolt hole 5.
