PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor buffer material which is excellent in adhesiveness to a concrete slab floor surface, good in workability, allows an operator to put a uniform-thickness coat of an adhesive without skilled labor, does not cause the sense of incongruity to anybody during walking, and minimizes the degradation of acoustic properties due to little infiltration of the adhesive into the buffer material. SOLUTION: The floor buffer material is formed of a fiber stack which is obtained by stacking component fibers on each other to form a unitary body, and at least one-side surface of the fiber stack is formed of binder fibers each of which has a constitution such that at least part of a fiber surface of the binder fiber is made of a binder component. Therefore the one-side surface is formed into a dense surface in which cavities between fibers are compressed due to the melting or softening of the binder components. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
