摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-strength sintered ore containing extremely low SiO<SB>2</SB>and Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>used as a raw material charged to a blast furnace, which particularly shows such superior characteristics as a drop strength (SI) of 90% or higher and a powdering rate by reduction (RDI) of 38% or less, despite the contents of SiO<SB>2</SB>of less than 3.1 mass% and Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>of less than 0.9 mass% in the sintered ore, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The high-strength sintered ore containing extremely low SiO<SB>2</SB>and Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>includes SiO<SB>2</SB>of less than 3.1 mass% and Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>of less than 0.9 mass%, wherein 85 mass% or more of the iron ore included in the sintered ore is composed of iron ores having an apparent density of 4.2 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more, and 80 mass% or more of the iron ore is composed of iron ores containing grains with sizes of less than 0.125 mm in an amount of 50 mass% or less.
