PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polymer structure having precise and controlled cavity structures. SOLUTION: This method for producing the polymer structure having the cavity structures of guest compound comprises a two step extraction treatment comprising a process for replacing the guest molecules of a structure comprisingδcrystals formed from syndiotactic polystyrene (SPS) and the guest molecules by a solvent, e.g. ketone, comprising solvent molecules for replacing and removing the guest compound and a process for holding the replacing solvent in the cavity structures formed by the guest molecules and extracting the held solvent with an extracting solvent, such as methanol.
