PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for leveling a food material with which a sticky and fragile food material such as chocolate flakes can be uniformly leveled on a conveyer. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a screw-ribbon-shaped stirring blade 30 arranged so as to cross a conveyor 11 in a conveying direction, a rotation means provided to rotate the stirring blade 30, and a slider 37 movable in the direction of a rotation axis 24 of the stirring blade 30 via a guide 21 parallel to the rotation axis of the stirring blade 30. In the device, a scraper 40 which goes forth and back toward the stirring blade 30 from the slider 37 so that the slider 37 is moved along the guide 21 via the scraper 40 when the stirring blade 30 is rotated in such a state that the scraper 40 abuts on the stirring blade 30.
