PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable crimping state by hitting with a hammer, the tip end of a projection of a resin-made rivet inserted in a penetration hole of a snap coupler under ambient temperature and suppressing the elasticity restitution of enlarged diameter deformation when the deformation occurs. SOLUTION: A hammer 5 and a holding member 7A are provided to an elevating member 2 driven up and down from a base 1, and a receiving member 8 for putting the resin-made rivet 3 is provided to the base. The snap coupler 6A is held by the holding member and the resin-made rivet is put on the receiving member. The elevating member is elevated up and down in the state that a sheet member 9 is put in between the snap coupler and the resin-made rivet so that the projection of the resin-made rivet inserted in the penetration hole of a snap coupler by penetrating the sheet member is hit with a hammer. Thus the snap fastener attaching machine causes enlarged diameter deformation in the projection end so as to crimp to the snap coupler.
