The invention relates to the use of an active ingredient for inhibiting mite excrement and/or mould spores and for denaturing the keratin from animal hair, and from plant pollen or spores. Said active ingredient consists of an enzyme such as auxillase, alcalase, bromelain, alpha-chymotrypsin, collagenase, pepsin, pronase, thrombin, trypsin, especially the enzyme auxillase, and preferably also consists of water, anionic surfactants, fragrances and preservatives. The inventive active ingredient is packed in containers for atomising or spraying or is integrated into textiles, textile fabrics, or sachets in a liquid, pasty or gelatinous form. |
