摘要

A novel compound which is useful as a preventive or a remedy for diseases in which HDAC participates, in particular, tumor and cell proliferative diseases. A depsipeptide compound or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt has a favorable HDAC inhibitory effect and an activity of inhibiting the proliferation of human cancer cells and, therefore, is useful in treating and improving diseases and pathogenic conditions in which histone acetylation participates, in particular, tumor and cell proliferative diseases.
