PURPOSE: A process for preparation of rolled steel reinforcing bar is provided to effectively prevent heat damage thereof by blocking heat transfer to the steel reinforcing bar when welding process is applied to steel band between respective steel reinforcing bar. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises cutting the steel reinforcing bar(2); crossing the steel reinforcing bar(2), steel chips(3) and steel bands(1) each other; pressing after inserting the reinforcing bar(2) between the steel chips(3) and the steel bands(1) to form a closing parts. The rolled steel reinforcing bar comprises top and bottom steel chips(3) positioned on top and bottom sides of the steel reinforcing bar(2); the steel band(1); the closing parts formed at crossing points of the steel reinforcing bar(2) and the top and bottom steel bands(1); and welding spots at both sides of the closing part.
