NASAL DROP AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nasal drop having no adverse effect and continuously useful for a long period of time and to provide a method for producing the same and a use for an extract of leaves of Psidium guajava L. in order to produce a nasal drop for treating allergic rhinitis.

SOLUTION: The nasal drop comprises the extract of leaves of Psidium guajava L. as an active ingredient. The nasal drop is prepared by immersing leaves of Psidium guajava L. in an organic solvent for a fixed time at a normal temperature to give the extract of leaves of Psidium guajava L. and diluting the extract with water. The prepared eye drop is packed into a spray container and sprayed to the nasal mucosa.
