<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material improved in color development properties and stable. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording material has on a support a heat-sensitive recording layer containing microcapsules enclosing a diazonium salt compound and a solid dispersed coupler compound as shown by formula (1).
