<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting mat for laid on artificial grounds and making walk possible on a fill-up ground and its planting surface. <P>SOLUTION: The planting mat has cells having an opening to provide a depression at the upper side and a drain hole formed near the bottom and one or a plurality of columnar elements lower than sidewall of the cell are set in the cells. And the cells, having an opening to provide a depression at the upper side and a drain hole formed near the bottom and having one or a plurality of columnar elements lower than the cell sidewall in the cells, are connected to each other through ribs.
