<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting film for a polarizing film and a release protecting film for the polarizing film which are extremely small in birefringence, superior in drawing-resistance alignment property in heating, and inexpensive, and a polarizing plate which uses those films and makes it easy to detect an optical defect. <P>SOLUTION: The protecting film for the polarizing film is a non-alignment three-layered film formed by laminating polyester films consisting of a specified component on both the surfaces of a polycarbonate film of ≥100°C in glass transition temperature, and the releasing protection film for the polarizing film is formed by applying a releasing agent over the polyester film surface consisting of the specified component as one surface of the three-layered film; and the polarizing plate has the protecting film for the polarizing film and the release protecting film for the polarizing film as a top surface layer of the polarizing film including a polarizer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
