PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing cyan toner excellent in stability of a charged state over a prolonged period of time, free of surface fogging and toner scattering, giving high image density as a cyan toner for full colors, excellent in saturation, transparency, light resistance and fading resistance, and excellent also in cleanability, transferability and graininess and to provide a developer comprising the toner, a color image forming method using the toner and a color image forming apparatus loaded with the toner. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing cyan toner is a toner containing at least a colorant obtained by dissolving a toner composition containing a modified polyester resin capable of urea bonding in an organic solvent, allowing a polyaddition reaction to take place while emulsifying the resulting solution of the toner composition in an aqueous medium, removing the solvent of the resulting dispersion solution and carrying out washing, wherein the colorant is C.I. Pigment Blue 15:3 and a composition prepared by previously kneading the polyester resin and the colorant with water is used as the colorant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
