PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle equipment system and a navigation device having good maneuverability in operating an on-vehicle equipment, an audio device, and a mobile information terminal device. SOLUTION: A program for controlling the navigation device using the mobile information terminal device PDA is stored in the navigation device. When the PDA is connected, the program is read out by the navigation device. The readout program is transmitted to the PDA. The PDA stores the transmitted program. A menu screen for controlling the navigation device is displayed on a display screen PSC of the mobile information terminal device PDA. Because the screen becomes as as shown in (b) for inputting the name when "decide destination" is selected from the displayed menu screen, the destination is inputted. When a search is selected, the instruction is transmitted to the navigation device. The instructed destination is searched, and is displayed on the display screen NSC of a display 28 of the navigation device, and the destination is decided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
