PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a carrying means from being contaminated by preliminary ejection and to prevent solidification through reaction of a fixing accelerator and ink. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder comprises a belt 4 for carrying a sheet 3 provided with an opening 20 for passing ink being ejected preliminarily from ink recording heads 1y, 1m, 1c and 1k and fixing accelerator being ejected preliminarily from a fixing accelerator head 2, and a corresponding reservoir 5 for storing preliminary ejection liquid.
