PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a walking type tending machine tilling a field by a tillage rotor attached to a tillage shaft and comprising two or more tillage tines, and a disk-shaped side plates installed in right and left both terminals of the tillage shaft requires regulation of rise and fall of the tillage rotor caused by a hard or soft state of the objective soil of a tillage operation by the operation of an operation handle by an operator to enlarge the operation load on the operator. SOLUTION: Mountain-shaped protrusions P asymmetrical in the upstream and downstream sides in the rotation direction of the disk-shaped side plates 10R and 10L are formed at a prescribed interval from the center sides of the disk-shaped side plates 10R and 10L installed in the right and left both terminals of the tillage shaft 8 to the outside, and the right and left disk-shaped side plates 10R and 10L are constituted so as to be exchanged according to the hardness or softness of the objective soil of the tillage operation.
