摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V- or U-shaped material which has a temperature characteristic of electric resistance, can be used in a complicated shape, and does not require heat treatment after molding, in which an arbitrary PTC material can be combined with an arbitrary NTC material or CTR material at the time of designing the material, and for whcih electrodes can be selected freely. SOLUTION: This V- or U-shaped material having the temperature characteristic of electric resistance is manufactured by laying a packed layer of composite particles obtained by noncontinuously and dispersedly adhering metal particles to the surfaces of semiconductor ceramic particles having a positive temperature characteristic of electric resistance until the metal particles cover the 30-90% of the surfaces on top of another packed layer of composite particles obtained by noncontinuously and dispersedly adhering metal particles to the surfaces of semiconductor ceramic particles having a negative temperature characteristic of electric resistance. At this time, the metal particles dispersedly adhered to the surfaces of the semiconductor ceramic particles have functions of electrodes and, when the metal particles are brought into contact with each other, electrically join the composite particles to each other.
