SWITCHING REGULATOR AND SLOPE CORRECTION CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching regulator allowing an output voltage VOUTto hold a proper amount of slope correction against variation. SOLUTION: This switching regulator comprises an input terminal for inputting an input voltage therein, an output terminal for outputting an output voltage therefrom, a coil connected between the input terminal and the output terminal, a slope correction circuit outputting signals for slope correction to prevent a current oscillation, an error amplifier comparing a reference voltage with the output voltage or the partial value of the output voltage and outputting the signals, and a switch calculating the output signals for the slope correction and the output signals of the error amplifier and, by using the obtained results, controlling the output voltages by the generated signals. The slope correction circuit outputs signals obtained by adjusting the signals for performing the slope correction in response to the output voltage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
