PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow persons in a vehicle to always to hear comfortable sound that makes the persons have a sporty feeling without getting sense of incongruity by appropriately controlling engine-related sound hearable to the persons in the vehicle by output sound into the vehicle. SOLUTION: The sound pressure of at least a portion of a frequency band in the engine-related sound hearable to the persons in the vehicle is changed in accordance with a traveling state of the vehicle. For example, when the engine speed of the vehicle is in a low revolution range that is not higher than a prescribed engine speed, output sound for increasing sound pressure in a low frequency band that is not higher than a prescribed frequency in the engine-related sound hearable to the persons in the vehicle.
