WASHING APPARATUS FOR SAFETY SCREEN IN FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing apparatus for a safety screen which prevents larvae of unpleasant harmful insects or the abrasion refuse of a filter medium from flowing out to a treated water side at the time of filtration of regenerated water of sewage or the like. SOLUTION: A water collection chamber 4 for a filtrate is provided to a filter tank (1) and a cylindrical screen (6) is provided to the opening provided to the bottom part of the treated water chamber (5) arranged above the rotatably in a suspended state and the filtration surface of the screen (6) is hung to the water collection chamber (4). The water collection port 12 of the suction pipe (11) inserted in the water collection chamber 4 is opposedly installed onto the outer peripheral surface of the screen (6) and larvae of unpleasant harmful insects such as a midge or the abrasion refuse of the filter medium flowing in the water collection chamber (4) are captured by a screen (5). A part of separated water is allowed to flow backward by utilizing the back pressure of the treated water chamber (5) while continuing filtration operation and larvae of unpleasant harmful insects or the like are discharged from the water collection port (12) of a suction pipe (11).
