PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform imaging in which blood flow artifact is restrained without damaging time resolution by blocking extension of a repeating time in an MRI system carrying out a multi-slice EPI method. SOLUTION: During a pulse sequence by the multi-slice EPI method, into an idle time between a RF (radio frequency) excitation pulse for the n-th slice instrumentation and echo signal collection, a 90°saturation pulse for saturating a spin due to a blood flow in the n-1 slice area where instrumentation is completed, which flows in during the n+1 slice instrumentation, is introduced.
