PURPOSE: An index for supporting a clip is provided to allow a user to make the index when needed by directly folding and bonding rule paper by providing ruled paper with an adhesive layer partially formed. CONSTITUTION: Ruled paper(10) of a plane type(sheet type) is divided into multiple surfaces in a lengthwise direction, each of the divided surfaces having bent portions(13) at the boundaries. An adhesive layer(11) with an adhesive material applied to more than one of the surfaces of the ruled paper(10) and a protective film(12) for protecting the adhesive layer(11) are adhered to the ruled paper(10). An ad printed surface(4) is formed on one end of the ruled paper(10) surface opposite to the side where the adhesive layer(11) is formed.
