<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium reproducing device for reducing the influence of a stray light from a recording layer other than a recording layer targeted for reading when information is read from an optical recording medium having a plurality of recording layers. <P>SOLUTION: This optical recording medium reproducing device is provided with a first optical member for condensing light emitted from a light emitting part on an optical recording medium, a second optical member for condensing light reflected from the optical recording medium, a light receiving part for receiving the light condensed by the second optical member, and a pinhole arranged between the second optical member and the light receiving part. The focuses of the lights condensed by the first and second optical members correspond to each other. Thus, only a light passed through the vicinity of the focus of the second optical member is transmitted by the pinhole, and thereby a stray light from other than the vicinity of the focus of the first optical member (especially reflected light from a recoding layer other than a current reading recording layer performing reading) is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
