<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire which has high joining strength and excellent operability. <P>SOLUTION: This guidewire 1, which functions as a catheter guidewire and is used by being inserted into a catheter, comprises a first wire 2 arranged on a distal end side; a second wire 3 arranged on a proximal end side of the first wire 2; a third wire 5 arranged between them; a fourth wire 6 arranged on the distal end side of the first wire 2; and a spiral coil 4. In the guidewire 1, adjacent wires are welded to each other, and the third wire 5 is made of a material whose joining property by welding to the first wire 2 is higher than that of the first wire 2 to the second wire 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
