<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a diver from having decompression illness and disease due to excessive expansion of lungs by providing clear display and surely giving a warning. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure gauge and controller 50 sound the water depth every predetermined water-depth sounding timing and compute a floating-up speed based on the water depth corresponding a plurality of water-depth sounding timings.
