DEFECT CORRECTING DEVICE FOR COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect correcting device for a color filter which makes it easy to precisely adjust a film thickness and gives a variety of choices of usable color filter film compositions.

SOLUTION: The defect correcting device for the color filter has at least a color filter film composition coating means which uses a defect correcting stylus for the color filter, sticks a color filter film composition on the tip of the defect correcting stylus, and brings the stylus into contact with a defect removing part of the color filter to apply the composition and thus corrects a defect of the color filter. The color filter film composition coating means is equipped with a plurality of defect correcting styli where the angles formed by their tip planes and tip side walls range from 90 to 135°, at different angles.
