<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality by reducing the occurrence of the flicker and luminance difference of a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes pixel arrangements, in a matrix form, consisting of a plurality of pixel groups including a pair of adjacent central pixels, a pair of pixels of a first color arranged to intersect with each other around the central pixels, and a pair of pixels of a second color, a plurality of gate lines extending in a transverse direction to transmit gate signals to the pixels and a plurality of data lines extending in a longitudinal direction to transmit data signals.
