PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the confusion and troublesomeness of a monitoring operation by preventing specific errors (minor errors) from being displayed.

SOLUTION: A local/remote monitoring terminal 32 comprises a display means graphically displaying sites (sites A to D) dispersed on a network and equipment installed in the sites on a monitor screen, a collecting means collecting information showing the operating states of equipment installed in the sites, and an attribute change means changing the display attributes of the graphics of the sites displayed on the monitor screen when the collected information indicates an error and graphics corresponding to the information among the graphics of the installed equipment in the sites to specified attributes intended to give a warning to an operator and not changing the attributes when the error is a specified minor error.
