<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmitting device for fastening a clutch, minimizing energy required for granting friction resistance to the clutch, after fastened, by providing an electromagnetic coil 13 for displacing an armature 9 in the axial direction with energization and deenergization to put the armature 8 in frictional contact with a rotor 10 opposed thereto. <P>SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 15 is arranged in a field 14 of the electromagnetic coil 13 so that the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 15 grants the friction resistance to the clutch after fastened, minimizing a current to be carried in the electromagnetic coil 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
