METHOD FOR MANAGING VOLTAGE LEVEL OF PROCESSOR OF COMPUTER SYSTEM BASED ON LOAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust voltage and a frequency of each processor based on a performance request of each processor and total amount of electric power/heat of a system of a multiprocessor system.

SOLUTION: The number of processors installed in a processor base system is determined, and optimal performance setting for each processor is decided individually based on partly the number of processors installed in the computer system and a total heat/electric power design frame for this computer system. Also, a voltage level of the processor in the processor base system is adjusted based on the number of installed blades.
