PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce consumption of power by paying attention to the consumption of power in a control device having a control means for governing the game control. SOLUTION: A single chip type microcomputer of a voice/lamp control board is provided with a high speed operation mode as an ordinary operation mode, and also with a medium speed operation mode and a sleep mode as a low-power consumption mode. During the operation in the high speed operation mode, in the case where the timer value of a timer J is equal to or larger than a designated value A and also equal to or smaller than a designated value (S14:No, S15:Yes), a designated data is written in a system set data (S16) without receiving a variable pattern specifying command (S11:No), a command for the transition to the medium speed operation mode is output (s17), so that the transition to the medium speed operation mode occurs. In the case where the timer value is equal to or larger than a designated value B (S15:No), a designated data is written in a system set data (S18) and a command for the transition to the sleep mode is output (S19), so that the transition to the sleep mode occurs.
