<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lock and unlock a door even when a key is lost, and to facilitate installation to the door by reducing the number of part items. <P>SOLUTION: This locking device has a locking-unlocking driving part 7 for locking and unlocking the door 3 by electric operation, a fingerprint input information collating part 9 for allowing the electric operation of the locking-unlocking driving part 7 when a person can be authenticated by collation with preregistered registering fingerprint data by inputting the fingerprint data, a key cylinder 25 installed in the door 3 and a rod 35 for connecting the key cylinder 25 and the locking-unlocking driving part 7.
