摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate troublesome positioning operation which requires high precision as to an electronic photographing device. SOLUTION: Employed is a method of detecting a parallax quantity between the output of an area sensor for photography and the output of a line sensor of a passive type range finder according to both the outputs. Namely, an electronic still camera 1 is arranged opposite to a chart A. Consequently, the distance (y) between a contrast position of the chart A on the line sensor 3c1 and the optical axis SX of a lens 3a is the total (y=x+z) of the parallax quantity (x) and a deviation quantity (a), and (y) can be calculated from y=(f(d+a))/D=(f×d)/D+(f×a)/D=x+z. Here, (a) is ((D-(f'-f))×x')/f'. The installation deviation quantity (z) can be calculated from z=(f×a)/D=((D-f'+f)×f×x')/(D×f'). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
