PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder for properly holding a cup superior in housing performance. SOLUTION: This cup holder has a slide base 12 supported and horizontally installed by an installing member 11 and a holder body 13 constituted so as to be collapsibly housed in the slide base 12. The holder body 13 is deployed and housed to the slide base 12 according to use and nonuse. Upper-lower members 21 and 22 of the holder body 13 are connected to each other via a link member 23. The holder body 13 extends and contracts to/from the slide base 12 by relatively rotating the upper and lower members. A step 24 is formed on the bottom of the holder body 13 so as to accommodate to a plurality of kinds of cup shapes. A lock mechanism is provided for closing and holding the holder body 13 in the slide base 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
