PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of golf shoes, which enable the player to hit golf balls more easily than conventional ones by smoothly shifting a load applied to the player's feet at golf swing. SOLUTION: Each of the golf shoes 10 comprises a shoe body 12 for receiving a foot therein with its tiptoe portion at the tip end and its heal portion at the rear end thereof, and a sole 14 bonded onto the shoe body 12 and equipped with a heal bottom 16 at the rear end thereof. The tread of the heal bottom 16 is axisymmetric at the rear portion while axi-asymmetric at the front end thereof, wherein the front edge 16c of the axi-asymmetric shape circumscribes a straight line passing two points on the front edge 16c and inclined at 15 to 45 degrees with respect to a direction orthogonal to the central line CL of the axisymmetric shape.
