PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head gasket with one metal base plate, having sealing performance and durability for generating and keeping optimum bearing pressure distribution around a cylinder bore hole or a liquid hole during sealing. SOLUTION: The cylinder head gasket 1A comprises one metal base plate 10 having a turn-around portion 12 around a cylinder hole 2. A first paint coating region A1 of a hard paint film 14 is provided on one or both faces on the outer periphery side of the turn-around portion 2 for generating and keeping bearing pressure.
