PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device capable of holding a drum in a stable condition and preventing the drum from being deformed. SOLUTION: By closing and moving up a clamper 16 in a condition where the drum 12 is positioned between a plurality of arms 14, an engagement member 18 is engaged with a loop band 28 for the drum 12 to hold the drum 12 under a condition that a plurality of arms are faced diagonally downward so that the proximity side of the lower ends of the plurality of arms 14 may approach the drum more than a proximity portion to upper side, so that the engagement member 18 slides in such a direction that the engagement member 18 separates from the arms to hold and move the drum 12.
